Eugene Kowalski did not always plan to become an author. Writing entered his life later, after years spent working in very different fields.
He first served in the United States Army and later built a career in construction and consulting. Those years were practical, focused on projects, planning, and solving everyday problems. Still, curiosity about the world never really left him.
After retiring, Eugene began spending more time thinking about the kinds of ideas that had always interested him. Space exploration, scientific discovery, and the possibility that humanity still has much to learn about the universe often stayed in his thoughts.
Writing became a natural outlet for those questions.
His stories usually begin with a simple premise and grow slowly from there. Instead of focusing on complicated technology or dramatic spectacle, he prefers exploring how people react when they encounter something unexpected.
Outside of writing, Eugene enjoys a quiet life filled with different interests. Kayaking, biking, and observing wildlife are some of the activities he enjoys most.
He also spends time gardening and practicing ballroom dancing.
